"Sew you clever girl, sew" (any whovians get that??????) Anyway this isn't going to be about this swap, but I am so proud of my fix I have to share somewhere. I was involved in a URR swap and just got my blocks today. Well one of the blocks was unusable, way to small, big fabric tucks, but I wanted to use this lady's block, I would hate it if she is just starting and got discouraged. And I already knew I was going to add a few missing blocks after the swap was finished. One of the missing blocks was the Jacob's ladder. The unusable block was the bow tie, so I took that block apart and used the bow fabric in the new block I made which is Jacob's ladder w/ bow ties. (the original fabric is the two darker bows in the corners by themselves) So here is my new block

I'm glad you said you'd tried white and liked it because it really made your fabric pop

This is the same tan as in the small flower centers, it looks dark here but it's not

My hubby got home and really thought the bright purple was needed for in the middle of the ladder...he loved these colors together and so do I

Only a few more to go
Janice -- I think these need to go into my "finished" block section of your blog post please. I knew I was finished but it didn't show all of the blocks. I was about to get worried I had misplaced some.

    Phew...all is good though.
