It will be heavenly in mid September...no leaves changing but just a hint of fall In the air. Depending on what week end, it might be the muscadine festival. We are a small, quaint town 6500 people...it will be fun.

Here are the beautiful blocks along with others I have been working on. Just love each and every perfect size 12.5 block you made me. The two duplicates are at the corners and noticed that one other I did was same block so it went on the corner too. Plan on embroidering on the center block - not sure what. As I look at the pic I am not loving the big purple and white X so will have to replace...
When I laid them out and put fabric I was planning to use for sashing, I decided against it. Will wait for backing fabric to come in and play with that. Need something that will make the blocks shine - any suggestions?

Retreat sounds like a wonderful thing. I think I am even supposed to be on the east coast in September for a reunion. Boy if could make it the same trip that would be great.

I got my package yesterday! yippee! all my blocks are back! I will get a photo on here of all the blocks I received when I have time on Sunday. I thank everyone for working so hard on my blocks and for making blocks for the monkey quilt and the floral table runner. I appreciate the time you took to make them and would like to add I loved working on yours too. Janice thank you for running this swap and all the hard work it took to make sure things were done on all ends. I think its wonderful the time you gifted to all of us. thank you again.

Well mr Bill is actually pretty interesed is this a possible weekend? nailing it down will be great and will dictate if he comes with or he plays in his scheduled tournament and I come alone.
