Janice my mom has the same problem. She said it's hard to remember to sit up and wait a minute before getting up from bed. You spend how many years jumping out of bed and rushing. Now you need to wait and wait

My F8s came today too. I haven't had time to check them out yet. Just as we got into town this morning, we got a call from the nursing home telling us they're locked down due to the spread of flu. Employees only are being admitted. All the hospitals locked down for anyone under 18 last week. Better the lockdown than spreading it even more. Everyone stay safe, well and warm. I think it's time for "chicken soup power".

So I was coming home from the grocery store and there she was, the mail lady. I pulled in so she had lots of room to get to the mail boxes and got out to get my mail and she just had to ask "Do you still sew?" I laughed so hard I thought I'd peed on myself. So I told her to squeeze that bag she had in her hands and tell me what she thought might be in there. She looked at me really funny, that's when I started laughing the hardest, anyway,I told her about our little group and she was so excited to hear how it all worked. So I opened the bag right there and showed her all the pretty fabric I get to play with. She said one day when she has time off, she's coming to my house just to watch me play. Now isn't that a nice way to pick up your mail?

SeeSaw - love it!! People are always so interested in this swap. And I love sharing the blocks with them all!
Janice - I can so relate. My mom had called a few months ago and said when she stood she was wobbly. I had to remind her to go Sssslllloooowww. So difficult for us all.
HMMMM - I suppose that is why I have more than one seam rippers

    Janice,

I know this is a difficult time for you.....found my mother on the floor New Years Day! She was also very confused and to weak to get up. Neurologist admitted her through the Emergency Room where she is still. No sign of stroke. Found systemic infection originating in her bladder. Tomorrow morning she will be discharged and transferred to a skilled nursing facility for 10 days for treatment of IV Antibiotics and physical therapy. Last two nights have been my best sleep in months.

After lots of paperwork, I finally landed home in time to get dinner started. Just when I was starting to throw myself a pity party....my DH walked in with the mail.....and there it was....a bag full of squishies! Divine intervention!

    Take care and God Bless!

    Bee

OK, here are 2 of the 3 blocks I've made. The first is for LJDugas, I love her fabric and this block, although i don't know the name of it. Does anyone?

Here's ArizonaKAT's Bento Box block. It's one of my new favorites.

And the third block, well, I just found a mistake while taking the pic so I'll fix it before I post. What was it TravelingGramma said about multiple seam rippers?
