Have you ever had a block that just about drove you to drink. Ok I will be truthful after fiddling with this block all afternoon, making one dumb mistake after another then repeating the mistake I did go and have Dh pour me q glass of wine. Gees Louise

Question...does anyone have favorite black fabric they like that is less apt to fade over time than other blacks? I have a lot of trouble with blacks not staying sharp like other colors. Thinking about making a scrap quilt with a black background.

terriamn, don't know why you fretted...it looks perfect!
joanelizbay I use Kona cotton solids, it's never faded on me yet and it's very good quality fabric.

This is the rest of the group, I've been sewing all afternoon. Hope you ladies like these. Everyone if there is anything you want me to change in your block please let me know and I'll do it before I mail them back.

Thank you ladies, I love making them!! Hope they will go well with the rest of the blocks you receive. Please if I can change anything, let me know. Probably not to much sewing until I get back from vacation, then on to the 3 month group. Need to start picking clothes and packing suitcases, going through the routine with the house-sitter about feeding dog and chickens, etc...the routine we get into.
