Bee, I enjoyed working on your non tradional out of the box block. Since I had no idea what I was doing, spent a lot of time thinking not doing but was very excited with the outcome. Will add the buttons as long as you are ok with them. praying your Mom will once again sit on her front porch. Terriamn

Terri.....I love the buttons....the block is precious....sometimes its just fun to create out-of-the box! I am already gathering notes from the grandchildren and great grandchildren to put in the pockets. I bought her an I-Pod for Christmas so she can listen to her favorite music. It will fit nicely in a pocket with her ear buds. I will check her out and bring her home for a few hours next week on a warmer day. Thank you for your prayers and for the love you put into this block! She will love it.

Thanks to Billi, Jaba, Seesaw, AZKat, Moonrise, too for the "pockets full of joy". Looking forward to making each of you special blocks in return.

    Bee

Elisa, so good to hear you are feeling good. In preparing to make your block, I have found a little monkey hanging from a tree - applique pattern that matches perfectly with your fabric. I have attached a photo here for you too see. I wanted to make sure you are Ok with applique for this quilt. Let me know and I will finish your block.

The bananas will be smaller in same scale with Monkey.

I've done Elisabrat's block today so far. I used the enclosed pattern for it. Hope you like it.

House is picked up and brought dog to the Hound Dog Inn. House sure is quiet without her but she loves the Inn and darn near yanked my arm out of the socket trying to get back and play with her friends. If we have Internet on vacation I'll be stopping by to look at all the blocks.bbhave a great week. Terri

Here's Travelinggramma's block. It's Sawtooth Star. I promise it's square, the fault lies with the picture taker (me). Some days it seems I'm just not totally together.
