AZKat.....how the heck are you! Been so busy with my Mom...not much time to catch up here. Question....would you consider a "red and white" block using your red and white half circles - a nice white on white - a red and white simple floral and a solid red? Using the WOW for the background the solid red center and paper-pieced second layer star of yours and my red and white print? No other colors..just matching your red and white.

If you prefer to stay with the two fabrics....yours and my WOW....no problem.

Love all those blocks! I barely got Janice's block done yesterday morning. I felt so bad and couldn't figure why. I kept having to go lay down for a 10 minutes ugh. then I felt a lot better in the afternoon so I finished one more block! two was my goal and two I finished. Three is the goal for today we will see. I push myself to get these done and I will do it as best I can! I love those creative touches as each of us see's a block so differently. Its wonderful to see what others have done. I am working so hard to finish these that I haven't had time to photograph them but hoping each one of us can post a picture of all the blocks when we get them back. I will make sure to post mine. I love those flowered blocks of mine lol those are for ME! and the monkeys are perfect. I am going to use them to circle a center piece block of pieced fabrics to make a monkey for a grandchild to come lol. ok should be working on the wedding to come in Oct but ready for grandbabies now! I am hoping to finish up 6 new baby quilts this year. That is the goal. I want to meet those grandchildren real bad but will for sure at least leave something for the new ones when I pass. so this is the goal! now to get there lol. I am good at starting things.. much slower at finishing them! ufos sigh...
