This is block for NanaKathy. Really happy fabric. I wanted to showcase as many of the elements as possible. This will be an adorable quilt. Hope you like your block.

What say you.........? Anyone else up for the Challenge?
Ladies, we could revise the challenge to ANY Quilt finished by Mother's Day. That would give those of you who are in different stages of some quilt inspiration to finish that quilt.

    How 'bout it girls?

I have five quilts I finished for last year. That was it. I have three set for this year. Without the help of friends who quilted for me I would have zero quilts finished. I have a simple brother machine and its great for sewing straight lines and maybe a couple applique stitches. then its .. done for me my machine quilting is best for table runners, mug rugs and wall hangings. too big and forget it. I have had the experience however that a just fused applique does not hold well. It is better to stitch around it which is probably why I don't applique much lol. I am having trouble getting around those corners without .. stitching off in another direction. does anyone else have this problem and if so what is the solution???

mailed mine back to our fearless leader. Hope it is all in order! if not I am in for trouble for sure!

Does that mean you're taking up the Mother's Day challenge with your Christmas quilt?
