I have a lot of ufos. I could pick one, probably my ScrappyTrips blocks from jclinganrey's swap, and try to finish it. it's about lap size. Try is the important word here though. What's the deadline again?

    right?

Come on girls, you have to have a top or blocks laying around that wouldn't take much to finish . . .

So let me see , Kat, if I have this right.....I put my UFO from Boom 11 Blocks (just need to sew the rows together to finish the top) in the Mother's Day Challenge so that I eliminate one from the UFO pile.....get that done on or before March 2nd (my own deadline). Then I can add Nana's Giggle Quilt Blocks from Boom 14....finish both through binder on....but not turned down by midnight Mothers' Day Eve (post picture here)....and I make the Wall of Fame! I can do it! I am in!

OMG! Right in the middle of my UFO babbling......up pops this wonderful block from DiFergie! I feel like spring has sprung!.....the sunshine just came out in the room! Where are my flower seeds and bulbs. Time to get my hands in the potting soil.

    Thanks Di....I love it.

Thanks Janice....I like the Ohio Star....maybe because I have a lot of that buckeye spirit..however mostly because my grandmother made this block into many quilts of various fabrics from old clothes from the girls dresses.

Glad to hear your taking the challenge. I learned from finishing the Christmas Sampler Quilt that blocks are fun.....but do not compare with the thrill of a finished quilt!

Let's go for it Boomers! Name that UFO!

And as for Di....this block has inspired me to begin laying out this quilt from pictures of the blocks. What a happy quilt!

Mother's day challenge! I will throw in my two lap quilts from (I think) the last boom (since I already have the blocks sewn together)!

Janice is in! That makes 4!

Here's my block for Ljdugas31. I love that black fabric. This one is modified from Pat Sloan's "Down By The Boardwalk". Hope you like it.
That medium fabric is really purple, not blue. Again, no sunshine makes a difference with the pictures.
