March boom is complete. GD is on her way to the Post Office today (hopefully).

I didn't get to work on the challenge this weekend. DD was in town for GD 12st birthday. Went to Tombstone one day. Took GD out for her birthday on Friday the 13th. One drink and we were back home. So much for a night on the town.

DD and GD raided my stash and messed up my organization. Spent Sunday trying to find things. Still can't find my snippers.

Anyway that's my excuse for not working on the challenge . . . and I'm sticking to it.

Roads starting to ice here. Post office and banks closed. Good day to be sewing. Just have 2 more blocks to finish and on to my Boom 11 Blocks to make into a quilt. This quilt is my Challenge Quilt. The original plan was to have it done in time to begin piecing the top for my Mother's Day deadline from the blocks from this Swap. Chug, chug, chug, its up hill for a while, however I can make it!

Pictures of the progress - great idea Janice. Will inspire everyone to keep on keeping on! Janice, did anyone ever tell you how incredibly supportive you are! Its kind that you commit so much of yourself to all of us.

    Bizzy Bee today.

This is my UFO. I was in a miniature swap on this board in 2012 and I have been wanting to use up the blocks I received. I made the center composition soon after the swap but it was just sitting around for quite a while. I actually used it for a round robin that went bonkers. Received it back unfinished and now I am determined to finish it. The quilt will be asymmetrical and I do not have a firm plan. Right now I am working on some 6 inch stars that I plan on using with it.

We have loud groaning noises as trees are breaking right and left from the ice storm. Our house is clear but the neighborhood is very wooded. Quite something to hear. Neighbor has lost his garage.

Libster, love the block. Thanks so much. I have yours done also but no camera to post a picture. It will be in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday.
