Here are my last two blocks for this Swap. The first is for SeaSaw. I have been playing around with the color settings on my Sony camera. Now it is really taking strange photos. Sea...your block is really nice shades of bright blue and white. The photo is way dark. Must have something to do with the zero degree weather and overcast skies. So much better in person.

ElisaB, the second photo is yours. I am not giving up on "Pepe" (my DH says that is his name ). Have a couple of others things to send you direct. For this block, I decided to stay with the directions.

Everything is all packed up and ready for the P.O. first thing Monday.

Thanks everyone for a great Swap! The blocks are very special to me, as is the friendship and support during this time in my Mother's life. We all have challenges we face everyday...some big ones and some little ones......but its on the rough road that we come into grace and begin to see our mountain as full of blessings and opportunity to give and receive love.

And that little monkey......I can't remember when I have laughed so hard at myself! Good medicine

    On to UFO's

This is my first layout attempt to start sewing together the quilt top. I decided to set the Center on point. Conquered that. Now to layout the rest of the blocks.....going to be bigger than I thought. Especially if I add more borders. Huummmnnn? Time to poll the audience. I will need to finish this one before I can start on my Boom 14 quilt....all to be done by Mother's Day. Nothing in the photo is actually sewn together yet! No...no..not the dreaded wall of shame!

    Better get buzzy

Bee, if it would be mine, I would add a border around your middle block to make it come out even for the blocks you received. Then make 4 more blocks and corners or more blocks. Sew all together and add another border if need be to get what you need for the size you want

No, no, Bee! As long as you are working on the quilt, it's The Wall of FAME!

You have 17 small blocks, not an evenly divisible number, you need to take one away or add more.

OMGosh...what, do you guys stalk other swaps??? ROFLOL!

And I'm going to say a much BIGGER thank you than I'd have said yesterday. DH is out of town as he often is due to business. Yesterday as I dropped him at the airport I said I was perfectly fine with it. I meant it at the time, but I'm actually a bit blue right now. I'm spending the day with my best girls (my pups) but I don't think they are much into celebrating! So it's going to be a quilting day and a coffee day and a celebratory scotch tonight. Big plans! So, you see, your posts have perked me up quite a bit. Thank you!

No, it should be THANK YOU!
