OMGosh...what, do you guys stalk other swaps??? ROFLOL!
And I'm going to say a much BIGGER thank you than I'd have said yesterday. DH is out of town as he often is due to business. Yesterday as I dropped him at the airport I said I was perfectly fine with it. I meant it at the time, but I'm actually a bit blue right now. I'm spending the day with my best girls (my pups) but I don't think they are much into celebrating! So it's going to be a quilting day and a coffee day and a celebratory scotch tonight. Big plans! So, you see, your posts have perked me up quite a bit. Thank you!

Good Advice Jaba! Quick question.....in your note about the layout of the UFO....you said - put border around the Center block...did you mean the center medallion block or the whole center design with the large half square triangles added to make the set on point center? I have cut the large green half square triangle fabric...just have not sewn it on yet. Was thinking about adding a 1 inch solid border and a 2 inch blender border around the medallion center block to separate it from the green half square triangles.....I can trim them down to correct side. The medallion center is 24" x 24".

[ATTACH=CONFIG]511208[/ATTACH]weekly update on UFO....this has to go on the shelf for a week or two but I am making progress. Used 30 of the miniature swap blocks and I think I have 10 more to incorporate into it. I am going to call this, 'A Walk around the Block", but I need a dog block...have cats, no dogs...I guess I am going to have to break down and make one.... sad face....

Went on a 2.5 day retreat and finished my granddaughters quilt top and pieced the back. W I'll hand off to the quilter on Tuesday. Feel like a huge load was lifted off my shoulders. Will send picture as soon as I find the darn thing
