We're closing in on the end of the swap. Blocks are due in my hands on March 2.

I haven't heard from Elisabrat yet but my block for Bee is finally done, and if I say so myself, it's pretty cute. I hope Bee likes it. I'll take a pic and post it soon. Bluelady is busy finishing up her blocks and at this point, she plans to have them here on time. Will let you know as the due date gets closer if we have any issues.

Also, I found the power cord. Why it wasn't with the machine as it should be, I'll never know. Now I have to get back into the mood to quilt. Oh, dear.

It is fussy, and tedious, b/c it is hand sewn, but not hard. The original maker machine sewed it, but that is way way way to many Y seams for my liking!!!

I am also making mine much less busy then the original.

Yyyaaaayyy! for finding the power cord....you are good....it usually takes me a minimum of 3 days waiting for my brain to kick in and wake me up at 2am with its exact location. As for in the mood....all you have to do is plug in and go...the worst is over. I love machine quilting. Its the best part of the whole process. Once I am past all the set-up, I can get lost in it for days. Looks like you will be admiring a finished quilt for Mother's Day!

got my nanakathy block in the mail to you Janice so hopefully that clears it all up. I have sent back everything else already. slower than molasses I guess.

beautiful blocks and love my monkey ones so thank you. I plan on putting a larger monkey in the middle and using the blocks to surround it. I think my daughter (or son lol) will love it.
