I signed up so will look for some fabric that will work for this. I have not shortage of that.
I am still working and envious of those of you that have more time to enjoy your passions. I live with 3 felines that keep me on schedule. I'm a civil servant and looking forward to the day to retire. I was born in Nebraska and still feel like a country girl and tomboy. My family is still back there and I visit several times a year. You would think I could at least get a visit during the winter. But that is aside. I learned to sew as a kid in 4H and home economics was a standard in school then. My Mom always sewed and made our clothes. She started quilting when I was in college and one winter visit when we were snowed in I made a block and turned it into a pillow. Well have been quilting since. My other hobbies are scuba diving, bike riding, traveling, gardening although have not done any this year with the drought. Trying to decide if I will do a winter garden.
I belong to a guild and really enjoy the speakers and projects. This is my second BOOM and one of the next UFOs I want to tackle is setting the blocks from the first. I enjoy trying new blocks and thinking of what to do with everyone's beautiful fabric.

This is going to be a great Boom! Welcome to Kassaundra! I love your blocks! I made a 24" medallion block with that pattern and I am using the Blocks from Boom 11 to make the quilt top. Nice job on those blocks.....not a simple pattern.
CraftyOne..."Be courageous! The most difficult step is simply signing-up. Before Booms, I did not know about quilterscache.com ...nor did I understand why a 12 1/2 inch block...really needed to be exactly that. You will be so blessed and so glad you did! Time to get your Boom On!![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
AZKat..I traveled to the Tri-State area many times to visit my Great Aunt. They lived in Huntington WV. My Great Uncle had a wood working business there for many yeas called Chandler's Wood Working. They had horses....I learned to ride there. Your very own Pick-Up truck...I sold mine a few years ago ....had many regrets.
Ok dust off that Christmas quilt.....let the UFO Challenge begin!
Love all the fabrics!
