Kass...those are 12 1/2" already?? PP does NOT stand for paper piecing does it?? 
I cant get the hang of that.
Would you care to let me borrow the patten if its 12 1/2??? The one I made was almost a full size bed pattern then I cut that one down and made 9 blocks for one quilt...Id love a smaller block in the carpenter square!! Its SO pretty and I agree about the 2d look!!

Joan here is a photo of the medallion version of Kass's block I made for the center of my Boom 11 Blocks. It is 24"x 24" finished.....I set it on point ....really love the way it is turning out. One of my UFO's .....don't tell AZKat...hehe.

I am loving all the pictures of everybody it's nice to put faces to names. Thank all of you lovely ladies for sharing them. Gray hair oooops sorry platinum hair is beautiful on all of you....I just started getting what I call shiny strands in my hair. Hopefully it will turn as pretty as yours and I won't feel the need to color it.

Love the pictures you all are posting! Im 65 but so far I don't have much platimun in my hair...the one picture was at Halloween a couple years ago...hottest darn costume Ive ever worn! The "real" picture was this year when I wore a "Michael Vick" jersey and carried stuffed dogs with me all day! We do have fun at work on Halloween!
