Well ladies I see you are all having so much fun with all that pretty fabrics. The blocks are incredible. I have been coming in lurking just to see how things are going and you'll never know just how happy it makes me just seeing all these blocks coming together.
Anyway, I hated not to be part of this boom but I think I made the right decision because I'm getting that "bullet hole" in my chest to close up. LOL That's what I call it, sounds better then "cancer hole" to me. If things keep going the way they are, I will defiantly be able to join the next boom and believe me, I'll be more then ready for that.
Keep up the great work and I'll peep in from time to time.

Hello there Sea! Hope you'll drop in here once in a while and say "hello". Can't let our veteran Boomers disappear completely! We'll be looking for you in the next boom then. Hugs, J

Good Morning Boomers! So good to hear from you SeaSaw....good news! And while we are hearing from our Veteran Boomers, Libster (Libby) gave me permission to share this PM we exchanged yesterday:
Libster,
Hoping you are just taking a little break and all is well! Can you come out and play with us who are coming to Tennessee for a Boomer's Retreat. You were so wonderful to me during my first Boom Swap.
Even if its just an "I am Ok"....or if its more...I am here!
You are missed!
Carolyn (Bee Beatty
Thank you, Bee. I'm much better now than I was for a while. I've had inner ear trouble and I've been too dizzy and nauseous to walk without holding on to the wall or chairs. The medicine I was taking made me totally sleep all the time. I had to stop taking that. When you sleep for 24 hours, nope, not me. I've never had this condition before. I do not like it one little bit. Thank heaven for my daughter and my neighbors. Don't know what I would have done without them. It was for sure I couldn't drive anywhere. I am getting better, but it still hits me at odd times. I don't want to try a sewing machine right now. If I put a needle through my finger, you'll hear me screaming all the way to your house. I've even learned that there's three different exercises you can do to try to correct this condition. Only one of them has helped for maybe 15 minutes at the time. I'm going to live, I'm to old and ornery to do anything else! Please let everyone know that I'm okay. It's just going to take me some time to conquer this. (And I will.)
