Right here! Had a great trip to Maui, returned to too much work and way too hot weather. Now it is a beautiful weekend, temperature in the 70's, slight cloud cover and I am hoping for rain! I am doing laundry today, getting ready for a business trip to Las Vegas (uhh.. yuck to the heat there) with a quick trip to Phoenix to see my brother and my step dad.
Today will also be a day (FINALLY) of quilty fun!
And so far I am LOVING the blocks you are putting together for me!
Jaba, I love the blue you put into mine, the soft blues are so pretty.
Joanelizbay, oh yes! The Union Square box is great! both are great but i love that pattern.
and Kassaundra, LOL.. B52 bombers is the best name! I totally can see them! and the last one looks awesome, does not at all look like it was a mis sized, the corners on the border really pull it together.
Terriamn, I love my block too! Great choice for the blue.
I can't wait to see all my blocks!
Just a quick note, if you have any of my fabric left over, please send it back. I only had a limited amount and I can always squeeze a few more blocks out of pieces.

Hello Ladies two more finished blocks.

For the first time I am using my new phone and lap top to post these I hope I was able to get them small enough they are for BlueLady wow did I have a time of it. The second one is not even close to what I started on. If I were to name it she would be called " Now What did I do" For some reason I made every possible error you can make with your fabric and the coordinating fabrics I chose. To tell the truth I have made more than my fair share of mistakes on this swap. But this fabric did me in which really bummed me out because I like it so dang much. But the multiple design changes or not I am pleased with the 2 blocks I managed to complete.

"Now what did I do" .................. I love it, I have several blocks that should be named that!!! or "What the h**l were you thinking", or "where angels fear to sew". I too have several in this swap that have no kinship to what they were suppose to be.

Thanks, I am a Project Runway fan, and several times I have heard Tim Gunn's voice in my head saying "Make it work"
