    Default Reminder of dates...

Good morning, Beignets! This is just a gentle reminder that completed blocks should be IN MY HANDS on Saturday, August 22. That's still over a month away so there's plenty of time left to work your blocks.

Normally, I say it's ok to ship completed blocks to me early, but in this instance, please HOLD ALL BLOCKS until you get the ok from me. It's insanity around here now and I don't want anything to get misplaced in the chaos. I'll let you know when you can begin shipping. It should be the sometime early August.

Thanks for all the lovely blocks that you've made. I look forward to seeing them in person next month.

When you give the okay to ship, can we still ship both sets if we have both sets ready and you hold for the rosebud group and send all back at the same time?

I ship both groups too Kass. Before... they can be held and ship together or you send separate postage for both groups.

I believe that will be ok Kass. It's what we normally do. It's just that we are in such a state around here, so disorganized with people coming and going at all hours, that I don't want to risk putting the blocks away "safely" and then forgetting where the heck I put them. Trust me, even packages as large as those can be easily misplaced in chaos. So hang onto them for a while and I'll give the ok to ship one or both sets.

I know I haven't been around much this round but you guys are stepping it up with fabulous blocks (have you really seen how terrific they all are???) and for helping each other when a question comes up. I love that you are supportive and positive. I check in often but finding the time to post isn't easy. Thank you for making this move along smoothly without me. Yup, I believe we've got the best group of swappers right here!

Shh don't tell anyone but my friends have gone home, Dh even went back home for a he week and no company is expected tomorrow. I kissed hubby goodbye and my sewing machine is out in the table, cutting board is on the only counter space and iron and mini ironing board are set up on one of the stools. Finished second block for Bluelady and working on Joanliz's block. Am I the only one not finished with this group? Oh well i can't complain because I have been having a wonderful time at the lake

Oh I love that cantina! And the block for me too! And, no.. you are not the only one not done! I still have a few left to go.
I was traveling all last week for work. (WHY oh why do they think Las Vegas in July is a great place to have a meeting??!!) and then I shot down to Phoenix to see my brother and also see my step dad for a quick visit.
So now I am back home and quilting is calling my name!
