Joan I saw your fabric at the Joann Fabrics by the lake when I was there last week. It is so pretty.

I got it in Columbia Mo. Joanns and last time I was there they still had it. I need to go back over and use my 50% off coupon...Try to use them when I want to buy an "expensive" item like a cutting mat or a big ruler or something. I think it expires this next Sat. One of the quilt guilds is having a quilt show in Fayette Mo at the Methodist church next Saturday. Ive never put a quilt in a show but a friend talked me into putting in my "Civil War Generals" quilt and my catherdial window quilt...No prizes, just show! Its always fun to go see what everyone else enters!

Joan that is exciting. I don't think I would have the guts to do that. Good for you

What fun! I agree with Terriamn though, it takes a lot guts to enter a show! This smaller show may be the first step towards bigger and better shows!

Love the blocks you've all made. Really think there will be lots of nice quilts made from this boom. Haven't been around too much, sorry about that. It's freezing time around here with all the beans and peas coming out of the garden. It takes time but sure is nice in the winter.

Forgot to tell you, I ended up with 2- 1st place ribbons and 1- 2nd place ribbon for the quilts I entered in the fair. Not too bad and I learned a lot more on how they judge so that's good.
