Not sure on that one, maybe for a whole quilt but not sure if it would be a good choice for just 1 block. Maybe would depend on the fabric?

I must like it I just spent 15 minutes looking at it and trying to figure out where and how the fabrics changes are and why it "works" I don't know why it works but it does and I think its a great block.

Bee I love your quilts and garden they are all beautiful.

YAY F8's will be here soon Im so glad.

so remember the picture of the boom 14 project I posted so excited that it would probably be done before this boom began? hahahahahah ooops. I got all the rows sewn together and realized 2 things 1 if I continued with my plan it was going to be one awkward size quilt 70x108 well thats awkward!!!! and some how it got cattywampus and the length was almost 2 inches off in places.....still scratching my head on that one.

So I ripped all the rows apart removed all the horizontal sashing and rearranged now instead of 5x7 it's going to be 6x6 and finish at 94x94 unless I add a second border then Ill play with it a bit and make it longer.

So it is currently going back into its project box till I'm less annoyed with it and feel like I can work on it without having a melt down.

also I went with Kass's suggestion making a border with some kind of hst's, and Terries gigure it out and it will be hourglass blocks at 2 of the corners and halfway down and halfway across the rest of it will the focus fabric flowers appliqued on the same fabric as the sashing

Terri, I have 3 tomato plants and ONE tomato growing. There are a lot of yellow blossoms but no more signs of any start of a tomato...not sure what Im doing wrong. They are in pots on my front porch and get morning sun and some afternoon sun...poor little tomato looks lost all by itself NOW I understand more about "texting and driving"... was on the way to work and this SUV came straight across the center line on the Mo River bridge and she looked up just in time to side swipe my car and take out my mirror...I was honking and yelling at her like crazy! LOL...could have been worse but she was definitely looking down and not watching the road...I hope it scared her as much as it did me and she wont do it again!!

Cant wait to get the F8's...Ive been so bored and not wanting to do any kind of sewing for past couple of weeks.. Don't know how Janice juggles all she has to do and still gets us the F8s ahead of time! Amazing woman!!!

Once again ladies, the F8s are in their packages, tracking numbers have been issued and they will be on their way tomorrow.

Also, with the exception of those who sent stamps or pre-stamped envelopes, you SHOULD have rec'd your tracking #'s by USPS mail within the last few minutes. Sometimes the system works and sometimes there is a foul-up. If anyone who has rec'd theirs would let me know here, I'd appreciate it! I'll check in here tomorrow morning.

    Thanks!
