Well, for my part, the pup is feeling much better after her surgery. Still waiting on the biopsy but clearly she's feeling very well now so I'm extremely thankful! We're going to have a quiet day with our sons today. It's the first Father's Day in a decade that we've all been together. How special is that?!

Our faithful olegal is feeling a little better with the help of her pain pills she seems to be resting comfortably

Janice so happy for your family that you are altogether for FathersDay. Found perfect gift for dh from Rio. A long narrow picture frame with metal so you can use magnets on it for pictures of our dogs from the past to the present

Went to a quilt show in Overland Park Kansas Yesterday. LOTS of beautifull quilts and tons of vendors!! Gave me some ideas...I think the most beautiful quilts there were those appliqued! Lots of long hard work in all of them!

Thanks Muse and Sew. She is much happier without the darn cone on so I'm not sewing at all till Dh gets home tonight. We have to watch her very closely as I'm sure Janice has to watch Riply that she doesn't lick her wounds. My embroidery machine is upstairs and regular sewing machine is downstairs and she can't do stairs yet so we spending quality time bonding together

I have a question for you experts! Ive had a LOT of people want me to do a tshirt quilt for them. Ive never attempted one so wanted some help on what kind of stablelizer you use to bind the shirts so they don't curl or ravel.
Do you put sashing on them? How about a border? I assume they can be machine quilted? I want to do one for each of my grandkids but have never tried because of lack of knowledge...Anyone made one??

Hope I get my envelope today or tomorrow...the 2 nights this week I don't have to babysit till 8 pm!

    Hi joan
I have made a t-shirt quilt. I cut the shirts around the image. I wanted giving myself quite a bit of room for placing the stabilizer. I used a light weight one I do not remember what brand or weight. . Ironed it on then cut my usable squares out. . I did not use sashing just sewed them together. Then put it together like a puzzle. The shirts I used came from grade school through collage I had a huge variety in sizes. . What I would do differently is be more careful in block sizes like 3 6 9 12 instead of the variety of sizes I did. I know I have a picture I'll post when I find it
