I got my package, now i'm scared and excited.
I tried a practice block tonight of arrowhead puzzle and it turned out fine.
I'm scared to death, i will mess up on the real block or use a
kind of material the sender will hate.
Does everyone feel like this their first time?
Should i send a Pm with the materials i want to use to each person and
    get their okay first?

you are too funny I was very scared the first time. I bet your choices will be great My advice start with everyone that requested wow or plain white that is the easy ones once you get a few done you will feel more confident in the rest of the them. and as far as messing up that is what seam rippers are for or even "design choices" when you just cant make the block work as designed.

flowergurl: I got my package, now i'm scared and excited.Join the crowd...we are all beginners at something in life

I tried a practice block tonight of arrowhead puzzle and it turned out fine. You're a step ahead already!

I'm scared to death, i will mess up on the real block or use a
kind of material the sender will hate. These are made in "friendship" We all know we are taking chances and accept the fact that everyone has a little different taste. That's part of what makes it so interesting.

Does everyone feel like this their first time? Yep... sure enough

Should i send a Pm with the materials i want to use to each person and
get their okay first? Not unless you want to drive yourself crazy.

Make a block that you'd be proud to get.

Be as accurate as possible ... double check instructions for "scant" seams being required so your block will end up being 12 1/2 x 12 1/2.

    Measure twice and cut once

    Breath and have fun.
