You know I love me some star blocks Jaba! The more stars the merrier in my book.

I have practiced a new block for the striped fabric and dang, I just can't see how to get it cut from a F8....back to the drawing board for me.

All the lovely blocks so far make me feel like a slacker. Been & going to to have to finish up some baby stuff for our 9th grandchild that is due on 4th of July. I know I know, times a wasting for that too.

Rainy days - so I got me some movies and started to sew. I checked out all the pretties F8's, separate the WOW requests, and then start shopping in my stash. once I have the fabrics (at least most of them) I start searching the patterns. So I had a stack ready to go. My pictures are really bad - each block is 12.5" and lays flat. Here are Billi's, Flowergurl, Jaba, and Joan

Here are the other four I completed. Muse and Sew - I actually got four different birds on those corners - surprised myself!! Moonwork - loving the fabrics and hope you like what I did. MollyMuchkin and LJDugas - your fabric screamed this pattern when I found the fabrics.

Nice travelinggramma...all of them. I really like mine, thank you so much. Wasn't going to sew today but then thought what the heck...I'm done except for mine and after the fair will probably go back through and see if I have enough of your fabric's left to make you another block or if you want your fabric back just let me know. Today's adventures:
Cuppy-waterwheel block Billi- churndash, just seemed to fit for some reasonBibliostone- Connecticut Blockand finally Paris romance for BeeBeatty- actually it's Grandmother's Favorite Block

I'm admiring from afar. Lots of pretties. Will cheer everyone on from the sidelines. I'm determined to finish my UFO's before I jump into another boom.
