YEAH! more stars... can't get enough of those beauties!

Phew, got my 2 quilts finished up and now will be gone 10 days and THEN... I get to start on the blocks!

It's been so hard to not work on them when I knew I had a deadline for the other items to be finished.

OOOO gold star for me though to have 2 UFO out of the way!

LuckyAlf, I finished your block. On my screen the fabric looks blue, but it really is a pretty purple (w/ silver metallic)

Billi I loved San Diego! Nice & warm & sunny! Lots of fun places to visit. Loved Rosie's Calico Cupboard. So many fun fabrics. Probably a good thing I couldn't go to the Quilt in a day shop because of all of the temptations.

OK who has the secret for making flying geese blocks? I can not believe how difficult that is for me I keep looking for a version that I can make and trim down like I do hst's. For some reason I just can't place the squares on the rectangle sew the angle, snip iron, flip and do the other side they never come out the right size..... Yes Iam marking the corner to corner angle. Anyway because of my inability to get it right I spent many hours doing and redoing Joan's block finally got it but there has to be an easier way. no seriously there has to be a flying geese block for dummies instructions somewhere.
