Terri I'm sure whatever your decision, it will be the "right" choice since it's made with love. Sappy, huh?

Sure hope we are making the right decision.

Not sappy at all, she is our baby. her appointment is next Friday morning, we decided to go with the vet by the lake, he is a no frills type guy but very qualified. Cost will be significant less then here in the cities.. Will take my sewing machine to the lake while she recovers.

Flowergurl your Rose looks like a sweetie. It would be wonderful if Rio lived to 14, she is only 8. We aren't concerned about her scar but more about the wound itself and how much pain the dog will be in.

    thanks for the support

Kat...first "hello". ..missed your posts here. I officially retired on December 31, 2013.....that was after I retired on September 1st....April 30th....June 1st and March 31st....I thought I was never going to get out of there! Friends and family kept asking....aren't you retired now? My answer: " I tired on March 31st and continue to "re-tire"! I finally told them they could keep paying me if they wanted to, but I was tired and going home on December 31st. Hang in there....it finally all comes together.....maybe the house you're supposed to have isn't ready for you yet. All the fun times are definitely ahead!

Terriamn...so sad when our best friends get sick....you can only gather all the facts and make the best possible decision.....and I know you will!

Kass love photos you post of all your projects..so interesting!

Yeah, mine are in the mail. Emailed you the tracking info Janice.

One of the great things about our groups is the support we can give to each other, not just in sewing but in our lives.

Sometimes....just being able to say something to others without any judgement can do the heart and soul so much good. We're here in the good, the bad, the happy and sad. "Outsiders" don't get our devotion to fabric and to furbabies for the most part. When we love, we love deeply.

    Happy thoughts to everyone today.

Package on the way! I Pm you the tracking number Janice.
Yes surgery is never easy, but in our case it was the best choice. Rose was so sweet and I miss
her terribly. She never even had to wear the stupid plastic collar, she
never dug at ear when it was healing. I told her no the one time i saw her
trying to rub it and she never did it again.

    Terri,

Chin up! They bounce back much faster than we do. I just had a golf ball sized tumor removed from my shepherd mix, Heidi. Had it tested and fortunately they got it all. She was her same old self only a few days later.

The kid and her husband went to look at an auction home and property. Said it has some remodeling needed but is livable. Guess I'll try for that one. I just keep remembering that old TV show . . . Green Acres.

KAT, don't know if you have or not but Realtor.com is a great place to look. They have all the specs on a house and usually lots of pics. You can type in the area you want, bedrs., baths, etc... If it's for sale it's on there

I like realtor.com also. It is very to navigate around the site. Green Acres, haven't thought about that show in ages.

Hubby reminded me our rottie had a tumor removed and she healed quickly.

Az are you going to change your name to Wisconsin Kat?

Hi kids just wanted to share my progress on my boom 14 quilt. This is the first 4 of 7 rows. I've been staring at it for awhile now my original plan it was going to be sashed with chocolate brown, it just didn't work. Actually it was....... well it was kind of sad and ugly haha. . So I rethought it and decided on this cream and white dandelion fabric and I think it's much happier and no longer sad and ugly. I'm still debating on borders. I have plenty of the print but I kind of want to do more than just a regular border. I just don't know what. .

    Any good Idea?

My goal is to have the flimsy finished before all the new f8s arrive. .
