Jaba where did you find the chart for different sizes? Ive used the block method but only if its written on the pattern how big to make it..Im not good at "resizing" for the finished size I need!! Moon...PP is like a 4 letter word to me. I cringe everytime I see it!! :P

I'm very glad you like it now I'm going to tell on myself I never did get the correct size so I did some trimming thank god I got that right and added a border while its not a traditional dutchman's puzzle I am quite pleased with it.

thank you all for the ideas I'm going to try pp and I'll probably look into the bloc loc flying geese ruler I have the hst ones and love them. My biggest problem is they are always a tad small but I will play with some of the ideas here and see what works for me.

Just tried it, and I like it. I slightly oversized so I could trim down, basically shaving off uneven edges. So cuppy's block is part way done. I wasn't going to do the one I wanted to at first 16 flying geese, but w/ this method it was doable.

Cuppy yours is done, will never do that pattern again. I really wanted to use your fabric where the coral fabric is, but there just was no way to make it work that way. I am glad to have learned the "new" to me way of making flying geese, will definitely do that again.

Billi, wish it was mine! LOL...I saw it on Pintrest and I knew Jabas husband did wood working. Might be more of a cost to ship it than to make it though...Good way to display quilts!

Moon, I finished yours tonight. The fabric is white, on my screen it looks light blue, but it is crisp white.
