Well, I am not sure where I got the "19 window" block. I keep a notebook full of graph paper and draw blocks when I see them. When I first started doing this, I did not write down the name of the block. Eventually, I learned to do that, but it took a while longer for me to learn to write down where I found the block. Sometimes I find them online, other times in books. And, of course, so many blocks have regional names so the same block can have several names.

Seems like there have been some outstanding blocks showing up in this boom.

Love the block moonwork, and yes I love diamonds Got the beets out of the garden yesterday and froze in quart bags. Used some of the cucs and made a gallon of refrigerator pickles. Love those things so need a couple more gallon to last until next season. Want to sew today. Have a good Sunday everyone

Jaba I love beats but have never had fresh beets. Do you peel them then boil them or Visa versa

the wind was incredible here Wednesday - Friday. We had a friend's 50 th bd party yesterday and not a hint of a breeze. I was so overheated all I could think about was leaving. Now today we have a nice breeze.

They are so tender and sweet from the garden. Boil first and the skin just slides off. Slice and dice, put in freezer bags and freeze. As I want to use them, I just open the seal on the bag a little and put in the microwave to thaw and heat. Tastes garden fresh
