Biblistone and Gram E great blocks

Hubby took today off and we left the city at 6:10 AM to open our trailer at the lake. There is so much highway construction now that winter is over it is ridiculous. I am slowly cleaning up the winter dust and trying to put everything away

Janice do you use your get away house year around ?

Well Moonwork, I went somewhere over the rainbow yesterday & found this.

and that little white stringy looking thing hanging from the blue diamond is part of the fabric.

Oh I love how the squares touch the same color in the star...it is so lovely and I've never seen one like this. Thank you for looking over the rainbow.

i make them up as I go along. A dangerous thing to pull something out of scraps, then decide you need more! Glad you like it. A needle in the hand does me good. Sometimes I just have to step away from the machine.

Well we made it to Maryland. Today is my daughters birthday, and tomorrow is her daughters birthday - so we will celebrate. The roads from FL to here were not smooth, to say the least - but we brought the sunshine with us.
Loving all the blocks being made - and Bibliostone - can't believe you got all of that out of my F8th - great.

As for red hatters - maybe someone can clarify for me. I understood that it started so women can be unique in our older age ... and yet everyone wears the same thing. Just asking. Always wanted to know.

    Just a quick FYI...

I've gotten an email from Grandma Di and it sounds like she's got her computer problems worked out. She's busy returning a week's worth of emails and then she'll get back with us. While the computer's been down, she's been busy stitching for this group. More than half are done snd hopefully she'll be able to post pix soon. Yay Grandma Di!

No sewing for me today. Hauled 18 5 gallon buckets of poop to top off the raised beds. Planted 18 tomatoes, 12 peppers, 4 cabage (it is actually to late to plant them, but they were free from the plant store), radish, cukes, malabar spinach, zucchini, and okra. On top of the last two days before of replanting a 30 foot flower bed making it a hummer / butterfly buffet, and weeding another 20 foot bed and digging holes and planting another 16 tree / bushes.
Got the extra zebra fabric today.

No travelinggramma, they don't wear the same thing. The organizations colors are purple and red and most of the time for the meetings ladies will wear those colors.
