Who's ready for 17? No seriously who's ready?

Today after spending entirely too much time picking out a ton of my daughters quilt I was looking for a happy place so figured out what to do for the next boom and if my washer was not on the fritz I would be prepping fabric right now. I'm pretty excited about the fabrics for the next one I'm hoping that will keep me motivated to fix my mistake and get this quilt done so I can justify starting a new one.

we went back to lake today and the guys put in the docks and boat lifts. Because of the ice on the lakes the docks and boat lifts get put in the lake in the spring and we have to pull them out in the fall. Our campers are on a good size hill making this a big chore. Instead of running the winch I rocked a 7 week old baby. Oh my I was in my glory. Kept light blanket over Emily but didn't think of myself and sunburnt my neck face and one arm. After two rounds of skin cancer normally I am very protective of my skin. Not very smart of me today
