For PP I just use my printer paper, print off the patterns and sew away, yes the the add a quarter ruler is a must the 12" and you use an index card to help you fold on the lines, I sometimes just hold my pattern up to the light to see to make sure fabric is covering where it should be.

I also use printer paper. I am one of the few that does not use the add a 1/4 ruler. I took some pics of my method of pinning pieces together since it is different then others I've seen, but I'm at work, I'll post them when I get home.

Paper piecing. I use printer paper, make my stitch length very small and cut my piececes over sized. Rather waste a little extra fabric then try and rip out itty bitty tiny weenie pieces.

Stunning block Mona G. Once you got something good going might as well make a couple of them.

GOOD LUCK with the pp Janice. Ive tried and tried and just cant get the hang of it. I feel it wastes fabric more so than just regular piecing but Im sure I just dont know how to do it right! Show us your end results if you get the hang of it!
I have a love/hate relationship with pp. Love the end result but hate the process and removal of paper. The more I do the easier it is.
