Janice, I would consider myself a jack of all trades, master of none. Definitely not an expert. Try to learn every day, & that is not difficult here on the QUILTINGBOARD!

Gram E I love your block also.

Never been much for hand work but have really been enjoying the hand embroidery with Splendid Sampler. Even took a hand embroidery class with Craftsy. I'm certainly not good at it but hopefully that will come with time.

Whew, ok, that makes me feel better Mona G. Was not sure about the green. When I put the fabric next to it, worked great, but when all done was hoping not to overwhelming. Wanted the purple to bring out the rose in the fabric. If you look closely at the top left corner of the feature fabric, the green is identical. It was certainly a challenging block. Now onto the others I have cut up.
Had to take a pause because of gardening, weeds starting to be a bit rampant, and watering. The retired boss brought in some Cannas bulbs, like I am going to pass that up, so needed to get those planted. Hands look like I worked in the garden. Going to have some veggies soon. Plus had to pick the rhubarb, it was four feet tall. I could not believe the leaves were measuring 15-18" across and the stalks were an inch around. Huge. Going to taste great in my smoothies.
