Lisa, Hopkins is just a hop, skip and a jump from me. Do you ever go visit her?

TG thanks for the tissue holder, I have allergies and always need a Kleenex. Will think of you every time I use it.

Jaba, you didn't let those blocks sit very long. Good for you. Can't wait to see the top when you're done

Much appreciated here I put my blocks on the design wall today, arranged and rearranged, started sewing sashing...1st row done. Will sew on it more tomorrow and soon will post a pic so you all will get the idea that was in my head for little Bam Bam. Have 2 quilts to get quilted and then this one and it needs to be done in a month when we go to Florida for the birth of our new granddaughter. She's going to receive a "blast from the past"

We've been up there a few times... hopefully next year get to go again. She is 90+ and still lives by herself.

Are any of you guys gardeners? Do you guys want to take your frustration out on squash bugs? I just discovered something cool. If you take a piece of squash leaf w/ the eggs on it, and take a piece big enough to hold w/ your fingers (or even safer a pair of tweezers) and you hold the egg side over a lighter flame they pop like popcorn!!!! Not the most effecient means of disposal, but it sure does a heart good!

Yea, well, that's what I would like to have done to those tomato worms I found eating my tomatoes plants today! Of course, pulling them off and stomping them works wonders too. Kinda' satisfying when you see that green inside squish out. As you can tell, I really do love them. They've gotta' go!

Think I'm lucky here ladies, no bugs so far, no squishing going on here yet. Not saying it won't happen, just not so far No work done on my blocks today, had to finish a quilt....got it quilted, squared up, binding done with a flange and sewn on back and front. It's done. Tomorrow back to blocks
