Put the blue blocks together and had 3 extra so made two more and added another row. Still have to put a border on it but Im SUPER happy with the way it came out! Thank you all for making these beautiful blocks for me. I love the blue/white as well as red/white quilts. Thank you thank you thank you!
Joan it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I love the dark blue sashing. I can't even explain how excited I get when I see my blocks in such awesome completed quilts.

THANK YOU all for the wonderful blocks. I had some from Boom 15 that I hadn't looked at in awhile to add to the Boom 16 blocks and they fit in beautifully!! Billi, I LOVE the one you made..something about it just stands out but all of them are perfect!!! This boom and Boom 14 when I had the gold, mauve, green flowers are two of my all time favorites ever!! I love this swap!!

Looking beautiful Joan.
I have mine ready to sew together. Cut the sashing, cornerstones and border fabrics. Now to get to sewing. I quilted seven quilts this last weekend and company so not much actual sewing done.

got my "center" embroidered today ( my hubby did it for me
) so now I'll have to work out the sashing and borders and what to do on the center. I'm thinking of putting it on point with rainbow of colors intermixed with the zebra print

Well, I had the opportunity to get out today to attend a retirement celebration for a friend. It just so happens that they have 2 fabric stores in this county, sad part I couldn't go to both. But I did get to my favorite which I haven't been to in maybe 3 years. Her fabric is all top of the line and way out of my price range, but she also has a great clearance section. I got this half a bolt of apricot w/white flowers for $3 a yd! Plenty for fat fat eighths and more. I think the orange bug bit me last boom. I didn't get any of Joan's orange but I so enjoyed watching it transform into beautiful blocks. Now I can wash it up, get it cut & bagged before I possibly have to have cataract surgery in early August. Whewwwww! I thought I was going to have to pass on #17.
I bought 2 other pieces off the clearance rack but only $6 a yd, regular $12.
