What frames would BOOM 17 run? I want to do it but I can't wrap my head around it yet.

    Ladies those quilts are awesome!
Billi I agree I always look for my block and it makes me smile when I find it.
GramE, love the fabric, looks like a fussy cutting extravaganza to me.

GramE, this is a beautiful color and fabric. What size are the largest flowers?

Like you, I didn't much care for orange until recently But Joanelizbay's fabric in 16 and Moonwork's fabrics in 15 Rosebud, like "creamsicles" from when I was a kid, have changed my mind. Now I'm on the lookout for some myself. [

Well, I had the opportunity to get out today to attend a retirement celebration for a friend. It just so happens that they have 2 fabric stores in this county, sad part I couldn't go to both. But I did get to my favorite which I haven't been to in maybe 3 years. Her fabric is all top of the line and way out of my price range, but she also has a great clearance section. I got this half a bolt of apricot w/white flowers for $3 a yd! Plenty for fat fat eighths and more. I think the orange bug bit me last boom. I didn't get any of Joan's orange but I so enjoyed watching it transform into beautiful blocks. Now I can wash it up, get it cut & bagged before I possibly have to have cataract surgery in early August. Whewwwww! I thought I was going to have to pass on #17. I bought 2 other pieces off the clearance rack but only $6 a yd, regular $12.

Hi there AQ. I've altered the normal timeline a bit to avoid coinciding with some visitors coming from Scotland. Also, due to several factors, I will have a couple of "shipping windows", blocks of time in which to ship to me. This last time around, packages arrived with no notice and that presented some problems.

The dates aren't set in stone yet but this is how it's shaping up:

Sign-ups to open 7/11 - 7/31 - these dates may change if groups fill quickly. However, sign-ups won't last longer.
F8's due to me 8/18, I'll ship to everyone by 8/22
2 month group blocks due back to me 10/22, I'll mail within 5 days.
3 month blocks due back to me 11/25. I'll mail within 5 days.
Boom 18 will commence in January 2017, but sign-ups will probably be in December if all goes well.

Hope that helps everyone. Look for the sign-up post on Sunday evening or Monday morning. I'll post a link here.

Got my fabric for Boom 17 washed, cut, and packaged. Hopefully the dates won't conflict with my craft fair schedule. I plan to join both groups if the dates work out. (Edit: Oh, I see the dates were just posted. I think it'll work out okay.)

I picked a modern-y fabric that's navy blue with little flower wheels on it, and would like the accent fabrics to be tonals/blenders in the colors of the flower wheels. No whites, blacks, pinks, or other prints. (I'll put a note in each package.) Sneak peek below!

And hopefully I won't change my mind about my fabric between now and then! That orange is awfully pretty! LOL!

Joanelizbay, would you please post a pic of the quilt that is under your blue and white quilt? I tried to find a pic of it, but couldn't. I'm sure you posted it. I'd love to see it again. In fact, how about those of you who want to, post your boom quilts and I can add them to a new section of the gallery.

About 1/2" diameter. It's on clearance at Connecting Threads.
