i'm feeling kinda guilty. I've done another swap. I did a postcard swap. Impulse posting will get you in trouble! I was not prepared at all. So I'm sure my post card shouts NEWBIE HERE! It was fun once I got over the panic of jumping in the deep end. But I do feel like I've been unfaithful.
What do ya think? Is it too newbieish?
Camping was the theme.
Washing my fabric tomorrow & filling my bags!
I get all tingly when I think about it. Like a kid going to Disney World!

I've never done a post card swap either. I simply didn't know what a post card swap was. Yours is so on spot for a camping theme! I'd say- Well done! I have done other swaps on here. I loved the patriotic swap.

GramE, we shall forgive you if you come back and play with us too! BTW, you may be a newbie to postcards, but I think this is wonderful! Some lucky camper will love this!

Feeling really down this morning...haven't gotten to sew all week because of watching grandkids then to turn on the tv and see the senseless killings of police officers who were just trying to protect peaceful protesters...I hope they caught the people who committed this senseless murders...this country seems to be going down hill fast. THANK GOD I have the whole weekend to do whatever I want to do...nothing if I choose not to do anything!! SO happy you get to join Jaba...I think you have been in every one of the 11 swaps Ive been in. Just thinking of that cheered me up a little bit!

Joan, come here when the real world gets to be too much. That's what I do. It's one of my happy places, an escape avenue from real life. I like that we are focused on fun, and quilting, and personal stories and camaraderie. I like that our biggest problems here are how we make that blasted piece of fabric measure up to 12 1/2 inches so we don't have to hear from Janice about it again and is this piece of fabric white or snow? Or this one teal or aqua? Shall I join one group or two? And I like to wonder, just how is it that an ugly grey fabric can turn it into a beautiful block? And how do all those little hexies go together? And should I join the postcard swap? And then my bad thoughts are as simple as And what am I going to do with all those Boom blocks I have? Am I a Boom'aholic? These are the tough things we have to deal with here. I like it better than out there by far.
