I liked how Jaba's owls turned out so well I did the same thing w/ Quilter Mom's hero fabric.

Is anyone making block for their own quilt too? I am itching to make at least one for the Kona black and one for the white, orange grey.

My blog cks are all wonderful. I feel like a slacker since I haven't made any blocks yet but I did pull some more fabric and have a plan for several so when I do start sewing hopefully it will go pretty fast

Yes, I have made blocks for myself. I use my scraps to try out new patterns before I cut into someone else's fabric. I've done 4 blocks for me so far. They're in my Group Therapy album. That's how I decide what fabrics I'll use with my main fabric. I can see so much more looking at a picture than looking at the actual block. If I've made a mistake, it really glares in a picture.
