Katsdar, if I were going to remake an Ohio star into something different I'd do the arrow block I made for Nanakathy in the OA group (hourglass blocks on the corners, and stripped squares in the middles) but you would lose the great fussy cutting.

I absolutely LOVE this!! Question is.....Are you old enough to qualify as a Red Hat Lady with a purple purse and red boots????
Moonwork, if you have some more zebra print, please send me some. You HAVE to have a red hat to go with these boots and purse! LOL I'm serious here.

Katsdar and Kassaundra, just remember duplicate blocks do NOT have to be remade. I want to make sure everyone understand that. If you want to, that's one thing, but duplicates can and do happen occasionally. It's ok. Look back and you will see them in previous Boom swaps.

"I've got my Libster fabric in a Petri dish trying to make it grow! "

LOL Let me know if that works for you, Jane. LOL If it does, I may just have to try that too. I have done the very same thing before. Kinda' gets you right in the middle when you realize it, doesn't it? LOL
Seriously, everybody on here is great to help out when you need them though. Best group of swappers on the net.

Yes, I knew that, just answering her question. I personally would hate to cut the picture and would choose a duplicate star w/ the fussy cuts over a different block and losing the fussy cuts, but we all know how much I love a fussy cut.

I made a quick trip to buy some light gray for Nelco's block. Was excited on how the lighter gray was a perfect match to the gray in the fabric. Put the fabric in a different light and it looks much lighter. Still looks very pretty but frustrating.

Billi that boot is one of the cutest darn blocks I have ever seen. The purse and boot are going to give that extra zippity do dah to this quilt.

Ohmy - I looked at weebly and think I used wow too - I am so sorry. Totally missed that. I wish I had more fabric.
