I finished the block for Quilt addict, I am over the moon about how it turned out. I have been eyeing this block since my first boom swap, but not made it. Well QA's awesome orange striped fabric that she wanted matched w/ purple and sunset inspiration, well it was more then I could resist. The purple looks blue / purple, but it is deep rich eggplant purple, the camera is lying! The very center is machine applique, the rays are foundation paper pieced, and the outer circle is reverse machine applique.

How do you put a picture in a PM? It doesn't give you a computer option, just the url

TG I chose one of my favorite go to blocks for you. Love how it showcases the fabrics and the secondary pattern it makes.

Those are some cute birds in that print. Can't wait to see where you are going w/ them

Here is one for Moonwork42029. Originally I was going to do Grandmother's Puzzle, which I have as a 10 inch block, and just make it as a 12 in. Usually, I have no trouble adjusting sizes, but, my brain just did not want to function so I came up with this one instead.
