Great fish block, Lstew!

And yes I did see that cute block you made for moonwork, Libster. Peace out, you old hippie!

sewbizgirl, love the lavender you used in the block you made for me, thank you! Think I should receive my squishes tomorrow! Froze corn and green beans today, boarding a plane this time and will take meat and vege's from here so I can use. Have a house sitter for the 6 month's we will be gone. Lots of detail's to figure out......extend IRS filing for one. Lordy, all you snow birds give me some hints on what you do.....

My ripper was working overtime last evening. Did you ever have that one block/ project that just wouldn't go together. I had a hard time with getting this block's points to match up, getting the color placement right and getting it to square up to a 12 1/2 block. But after 3 hours of playing with it, here it is......

it's called the Chuck a Luck block. I loved working with the batiks.

Great block, Lstew! I've always known that one as 'cheese and crackers' or just 'cracker block'. And yes, I have to make lots of adjustments to my seams to get them to come out right and be 12.5" when done. Lots of my seams are removed and/or resewn.
