good luck your stitch length can be whatever your design will take it's the tension that needs to be lowered.

Ok Ladies I have no excuses other than sometimes my blond just has to show it's self and typically likes to pop up when the most people possible will see it.......

So while I was making Lums 2nd block it just didn't seem right I checked the colors nope they are right I double checked the size nope 12.5 like it should be I posted it kept looking at it and still it didn't seem right.

Left the house (went grocery shopping) came back in my room took one look at my design board and BAM!!!!!! it hit me why in the world did I make a 6 point star for a quilt of valor? what the hell? I don't even have the I was shaken awake by an earthquake (what the hell Missouri, Iowa and Oklahoma?) excuse.

So I sat down gathered what I had left of the fabric and tried again.......Lum I am sending all 3 you can use that 6 point or like me you can just shake your head and wonder what the hell I was thinking.

ALL2PIECES- beautiful block. Agree with all Billi said about metalic thread, coats and Clark puts out a wonderful metalic, that is very easy to use. The silver is a little more tempermental, than the gold. When my new USB cable arrives I will show you my angel quilt that I made for my sister to go through Chemo with. It's all machine applique with satin stitch, not perfect, but looks really good.

Billi, thank you for the bonus blocks, they all look great. The six point just gives it character, if you want to be technical the star flower one has eight

Billi, I think your 6 point star is great! Stars and snowflakes are alike you know? no 2 are ever the same

Wow SewBiz those are lovely you are having fun aren't you

A2P I like your birds in the air block for Mona

My block is for Mona too it's a variation on the the album variation block. Mona your fabric might have been my biggest growth this boom you took me completely out of my comfort zone. This is more muted than I typically play with but I enjoyed the challenge and I hope you like it.
