Lstew2212 - agree! This has been so much fun, to play with all the fabrics and see all the creativity. I never would have chosen MonaG's fabric, it's too muted for me also. Your feathers fabric has made some wonderful blocks. Batiks have always seemed a bit stiff and pricey to me. Having a chance to sew with them in this swap has made me rethink that a bit. I've tried to use my stash as much as possible and discovered I don't have as many blenders and tot as I expected. In the past I tended to buy yards of fabric to make blouses, with an extra half or so for quilting. That's where a lot of my stash is from, what wasn't bought with a specific project in mind. So I've got a bunch of coordinated sets and children's motifs. Great for charity and gift quilts. Now I'm trying to do something for the 40+ age group, and I'm seeing where I need to improve.

Agree, agree! I have begun to add more blenders and tonals, as well as small prints to my stash. I had tons of medium to large prints that great for 'focus', but not enough to go with those.
Lstew, didn't realize I was making you the same broken sugar bowl pattern for both of your bonus blocks! I just went with whatever fabric I had big pieces left from, and found out whose they were later, LOL.
I may have enough to do one or two more bonus blocks, and then I'm shut down until next time. This really has been fun.

Love this block!!!!
Wow SewBiz those are lovely you are having fun aren't you
A2P I like your birds in the air block for Mona
My block is for Mona too it's a variation on the the album variation block. Mona your fabric might have been my biggest growth this boom you took me completely out of my comfort zone. This is more muted than I typically play with but I enjoyed the challenge and I hope you like it.

For some reason I cannot post from my phone anymore, but while I was in Iowa the last few days I was looking at all the great blocks being posted. I want to thank everyone for all of my beautiful blocks.
