I'm making up for bonding two pieces of fabric together to make one block. I'm cutting 32 triangles and 16 squares for my next "from the recliner " block for LJDugas. I panicked yesterday because I couldn't remember what fabric she had in Opal & I couldn't find a baggy with her name on it. Those suckers are slipperier than a wet dog & it had slipped under the divider onto the Topaz side. So since I had it in my hand, I wasn't gonna let it get away again! I wonder if I can make a block with less than 30 pieces? I'm gonna try. Terri's is up next for the machine (if I don't change my mind) & it is a Jinnie Beyer with only 20 pieces. I'm getting there.

Almost there this afternoon I present to you loves2sew and Aunt Eliza Star I swear I don't know if I'm not good with Jinny Beyer patterns or templates but this is the second time I have made this and trust me it didn't get easier. It fought me all the way.

I'm now helping/teaching my oldest make a quilt for a co-workers soon to be 1yr old and finishing a couple of other projects then start on Topaz.
Ladies I love swapping with all of you and seeing ALL of the blocks you make there are going to be so many beautiful quilts I look forward to seeing them finished.

Pretty Billi! Her quilt is going to be so cool with all of those batiks plus black.
Every time I see there's new activity in Opal I am hopeful I will see one of my blocks made! Can't wait to get a look at the last 5 or so I have left to see. This is terribly fun!
