Boom 17 - TOPAZ

Here are my last three blocks unless I can scrounge enough from scraps to make some bonus blocks.
First is for Bibliostone. It's a Folktale Circle.
Second is for Ibex94. It's an Anvil. Love this fabric!
Third is for Moonrise. It's an Evening Star. I like this muted green with your fabric.
Hope you like them, Ladies.

NanaKathy55, thank you for my beautiful block.
Here is a block for ljdugas and a teaser for moonworks block, because, if you have an idea, you have to get it out quick before someone else uses it.
ljdugas:

moonwork: this is a practice stitchout that is not on moonwork's fabric.

I'm trying to decide if I love the hippie fabric or the Mardi Gras better..both really stand out! I keep looking at my orange from last boom, thinking I need to get it together..just haven't had time! I'm LOVING this swap!!

I have been busy - so here they are
Ibex - Goose on the loose - really enjoyed using bright colors.
ljdugas - I was trying a new to me reverse applique. Then I thought it might not hold up for a 10 yo so I used the machine to fortify and make the E stand out. Love the soft feel to this fabric.
molly - who knew there was a NASA font!! Used it for this (notice the K is so straight while the M and E are curvy - I am sure NASA knew what they were doing!!) Used the eclipse moon that NASA uses and hoped I wasn't stepping on some trademark!?
SeaSaw - Follow the Goose - Wasn't sure what to so with your fabric until I found the two fabrics that made it pop.
Love looking at Janices page with all the blocks together. Wow - can't wait to see the final quilts!!

So the question has come up as to whether or not a person should alter their planned block so that more scraps are returnable to those who wish them back. My response, so you all know, is an unequivocal "no". As we've become more controlling, in general, in recent booms about color and style, I'm not going to encourage you to make blocks you don't want to make so a larger scrap can be returned. So, make what you want to make and return usable pieces - no shreds please - to the fabric owner if you have any left. Thank you!
