I LOVE that VW block...so envious of that quilt shes going to get!! I still think my favorite is the beatles walking on Abbey Road..makes me smile every time I see it!! Some friends and I use to go to concerts in an old school bus... the small kind that he had refurbished for his "house"...it was so much fun!! Not sure about the rest of you but at 67 I feel I grew up as the BEST generation possible..nothing like kids now days who just want to play video games and watch tv..I don't think we were EVER inside till dark as kids..But my 20's, 30's....still hang out with hippy friends from that time!!

Reminders for everyone as they pack up blocks to ship to me: Be sure to include postage of $6.80 per return package. Make sure to seal up and label every ziplock Baggie with your name and the owner's name and and put them all in a large gallon size Baggie, also well-sealed. I don't want to be picking up a dozen blocks from the floor. Thanks!

Oh my another great hippy block, can't wait to see the finished quilt.

Kassandra love your very unique block, I don't know how you can think up such different ideas I must not be able to think out of the box.

Moonworks great block for Francie, since I messed hers up so bad she sent me new fabric but I'm afraid to cut into it in fear of screwing up again

Be careful when you get one of mine Janice.. I don't think I put all the 3 month in a BIG baggie. Its the bigger of the two envelopes... and I mailed the money in a separate envelope..sorry!! I wondered where the extra big baggie came from on my table!

Joan, I'm forewarned! I had one pkg come in with the blocks sticking out of almost every ziplock and some of them spilled all over the floor...the exact place my dog had been sleeping earlier. I'm not concerned about losing anything but I do think about dog/cat hair getting on everyone's blocks. I don't want that, esp for our allergy conscious folks.

And for our newbies, that large ziplock bag really is needed to keep the two groups separated and to sort your blocks into. And yes, even if you are in only one group please use a large baggie. That's why when a package comes in without one, I usually supply one. I send them out and they often don't come back. If you've got one, PLEASE use it when you return your blocks to me as I'm not going to keep supplying them. Thanks!

I'm wondering if I did it right, too! Don't remember what I did... actually.

GramE that star block is so pretty, and you fussy cut and framed those cardinals so perfectly.
