Tomorrow I hope to finish up two small projects then get back to our boom projects. Trying really hard not to get anxious because things keep popping up keeping me from finishing the blocks for our swap. I know there is plenty of time but have always worked non stop on previous boom blocks. My goal on this swap was to take my time and enjoy the process, why can't I remember that? Anyone else ever feel panicky like this

I wouldn't say I'm panicking but little things keep coming up that halt my progress making blocks. And yes, there's plenty of time left for Topaz, but right now it feels like a struggle but it has little to do with the Boom itself. Just lots going on making it difficult to find quality time TO enjoy it. But I've got two more cut out and half pieced so I'll feel better when those are done.

Janice I think my panicking is more what if.... Thankfully when I sew my mind focus's on the blocks and not the trauma of the real world around me

My nephew and his wife will have to make the 4 hour drive to the cities for all of her prenatal visits. We will offer them the use of our spare bedroom and yes it is filled with tubs of fabric I will need to find a new home for.

There's still a ton of time left. Panic not.

I was talking with a friend about our swap and realized I don't think I made clear that I would be happy for any style block you want to make. My large floral isn't my normal fabric, but please don't hesitate to make traditional blocks. I'm a big fan of stars, just saying!

Terriamn, Panic....I don't normally, but it has reared its ugly head several times so far in this boom. I started a new job, moved into a new house, and have next to no free time. But I remind myself that there is still plenty of time, breathe, enjoy the process. I finished three last week and two more today. We will get it done. Just breathe.
First Block: Francie-Hovering Hawks, Jaba-Anvil, Quiltermama-New Album Block, Biblistone-friendship star, Billi-this is a modification of a block called Dandy from Delaware Quilts. I modified by making adding a third color. This configuration may have a name and I may know what it is, but I don't remember it now.
