Looks like there are some truly wonderful blocks for this boomerang! You ladies are amazing. I wish I had had time to play too.

Moonwork, beautiful pictures, I love your bouquet.
My niece's daughter just got married, both going to school, I doubt they spent much more than $500.
1995, we spent about $2,000 on my daughter's wedding, VERY DIY (well, more appropriately do it myself). The wedding was in a conference center with full wall of windows as the backdrop looking out over a creek & some wooded area scheduled to start @ 630pm in Nov. at 6:32 the Good Lord gave us a pink golden hue over the whole room with a million dollar sunset! You just can't plan that part!

Sorry about your loss kwiltkrazy. And your loneliness. My sister is struggling the same. Prayers up for you.

Moonwork, I'm guessing orange/bronze is on your list of faves! Love that bouquet! Never saw a wedding where the flowers & the motorcycle coordinated!

the cute chick in the pic is one of my two granddaughters who will be 17 tomorrow! ❤️

Well, ours isn't a fall wedding but I paid 22 bucks for the dress from a fancy dress store in Indianapolis and 47 1/2 yrs ago that was a whole lot for me! Very Go go 60's style, inset lace sleeves were very hip! Someone made the veil. My daughter wore it to her wedding reception. We remade her MIL's dress to fit her to wear in her wedding.

thank you all for telling your stories. I love knowing more about who I'm making the blocks for!

My dress was also from JCPenneys.. Hate to say it but it was dh's first marriage and my first one was a tiny hurry up affair and we decided to have the big hurrah. Just dumb when we looked back on it. We were married 27 years on Sept. 23

Lovely wedding pic, and such a little pixie bride. Such proper mothers w/ hats and gloves.

Awesome wedding pics everyone.

Kass I explained that for my bouquet I wanted an old fashion arrangement with tulle and lace. Loved the pictures of my MIL's. Cripe it iwas a good thing I was tall, the bouquet was huge and long. It would have been to the floor on a short person. Flowers were beautiful but certainly not what was expected
