I fear I am going to be doing some all nighters to get these squares done. I see a lot of paper piecing in my future, lol. I want to perfect that technique...

Ibex, once you get your fabrics chosen, they'll go a lot faster than you imagine. I'm not good at paper piecing, but I love getting them. I love doing machine applique. If someone hates applique, please speak up now. Sometimes a fabric will tell me that's what it wants to be. I have to hold them before I know sometimes.

I LOVE paper pieced as long as I don't have to do it! Same with applique. Just cant get the hang of either of them.
I found a pattern for a boot but it only comes out to 7 1/2 square so I'm going to have to enlarge it a tad to see if I can get it to work. I just pieced a quilt that had barns with quilt squares on them. I think its going to be really cute when I get it quilted! It would go good with a country theme room!

I do love me some paper pieced blocks a skill I have yet to even try.

My first boom I got my squishy and kind of panicked I though no way in hell was I going to get them done next thing I knew all my blocks were finished, I still had weeks left, and I wanted to make more. Libster is right it will go so much faster than you think.

Yes it is for work. A couple of years ago officers made a traffic stop and the old man (no dementia or medical problems) was galled that the officers had stopped him, he "is a preacher" he kept saying. Anyway he escalated until he tried to run over the officer and the first medics on scene. They tazed him to get him to stop and not run them over. Now he has the gall to sue them for tazing him.

They didn't post pix or weren't able to post pix. I've got NK's and LJD's f8s here so I'll post them and add them to the gallery as well. Need to find a couple of more hours in my day.

Edited to add: I know I've got a pic of Bibliostone's fabric, at least I did, so if I can find it, I'll add it in as well.

It's difficult, I know. Imagine having almost all of them here and not playing with them yet. Although sorting them out is kind of playing with them. Such pretty colors!!!

Here is a photo of my finished Boom 16 quilt. To me finished, the binding is on, just needs hand sewn. That will get done this weekend most likely at the quilt show I am demoing Binding and it is a sample.
