I'm sorry, Terri. There is a support band you can get for forearm pain that seems to really help. It's a band with a little gadget on it, you wear right below your elbow. It's sold in drug stores where the wrist, elbow and knee supports are-- the ortho supports. You might give that a try.

Also... ICE. Rest and ice always make things better!

Our house looked like a scene from CSI tonight. Gary came in from tending to the chickens blood soaked and dripping blood. His stitches are barely out from the grinder incident and tonight he cut his head open on some fencing. I got the bleeding stopped and cleaned up so I could see how bad the lac was. It is deep but a clean cut no jagged edges he just got his tetanus shot a couple of weeks ago so I "sutured" it w/ tape.

Thanks Terri that was a beautiful sunrise. Gotta stop and feel the sunrise, all the time.

No they have been in their clothes for weeks now. He hit his head on a sharp part of the fence / gate.

Ugh. Crazy glue works well too, once you get the bleeding stopped. My doctor crazy-glued my head once, after my dh dropped a sledgehammer on it from above on a scaffolding! Popped my scalp open to the bone and boy did I have a headache!

Don't let the wound heal in a gaping pattern if it's in a hair area. Hair will not grow on scar tissue.
