Francie, that is gorgeous! And I agree, if you don't win with that, somebody IS blind.

Francie, that's darling! Excellent stiching. And the butterflies are flying off the fabric! Absolutely delightful.

The binding is completely machine sewn. I read an article that talked about sewing it on the back side of the quilt and folding forward, it made a much cleaner machine sew line that I was thrilled with. I also read somewhere about folding the mitered corners so you are sewing into the miter. Such a tiny detail about which side to fold first makes such a huge difference in how easy the corners were to keep perfect.

The fleece backing got a little puckering in some seam lines, I didn't notice until it was to late.

The sashing strip just below the top row and just above the bottom row both have her name quilted in. The top one is from the front side so the name is backwards on the backside. This one was sewn from the back side so is backwards on the front. It had been so long since I had written in cursive I had to really think how some letters were written.

Thank you ladies for all the beautiful blocks that went into making this quilt.
Kass it came out beautiful nice QAYG skills you rock!

Hallelujah, Yes he is! Yesterday my right eye vision was 20/100. Today it was 20/25. They removed a bad cataract caused by medication. Now with the synthetic lens the meds won't change it! Many prayers were answered. Can't get my face wet for a few days but a small price to pay.

And you Group Therapy Boom 16 ladies, my eye sight was worsening each month. Now I know why I had to remake a few of those blocks. Double vision doesn't work well with 1/4" seams!

Been making the one last block I needed for Hedge's space quilt. It is foundation paper pieced. I made a boo boo, requiring seam ripping. So here I sit, do you think I am seam ripping ................................ no, do you think I am eating ice cream? .................................................. .... maybe!
