I have a pink and white cotton w/ sparkles that I think would go well both for color and "feel"

Awww that is the most beautiful thing, I can just imagine a whole quilt made with those types of blocks. I don't think I've ever seen a block made this way. What is sashiko? Is it hard to learn? Ok I must go look that up it is so pretty.

Sashiko is a Japanese type of embroidery...pretty simple to learn...just a running stitch. Sylvia pippin has a lot of examples. Thanks for asking.
