We are down one in each group as Moonrise has withdrawn. I've got a tentative for the 2 month group. Our goal is 20 people per group with each of you making 19 blocks and one for yourself. Anybody lurking out there feel free to send in your name!

I sometimes put people in the wrong group or leave a name off so if you spot an error, please let me know. Thanks.[/QUOTE]

19 fabrics cut and bagged. Memo in each marked zip bag. I have to fly back to NY as momma fell and destroyed her elbow. Looks like I will be spending my winter in the cold weather. Just how much is 50 lb. of fabric? (Suitcase max weight)

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's injury. How that must hurt! Here's to a swift recovery and to staying warm this winter.

Sorry about your Mom. Can they fix it?

You can always hit Walmart for more undies but you can't replace your stash!

Of course I had to try and find that answer. let me just tell you the "EXPERTS" do not agree, shocker.
closest thing I found them agreeing on is poly cotton 3.5-4 yds per pound.

Thats a lot of stash. and undies are much cheaper than fabric.

    Sorry about your mom.

"poly cotton 3.5-4 yds per pound."

That's 200 yards, which is a whole lot of fat eighths and fat quarters. Even a few whole yd pieces. I'd be afraid to say I don't have that much then I might find out I have more!

TG any chance you can bring your Mom home with you? Hope she is not in terrible pain and they can fix her elbow.

Sis had a call Friday and our Mom had also fallen. Nothing broken but badly bruised. Poor woman

Oh my - thank you for the laughter and smiles. Love you all.
My mother (89) and younger sister (85) had flown to OK to visit older sister (90). Older sister drove two younger sisters out of house to get fresh air and take a walk. Mom was trying to keep up with younger sis when she tripped. Hospital there fixed her up and said nothing can be done until swelling goes down so it could wait. They and I fly in on Wednesday afternoon and we have a 8:40 appt.Wednesday with her arm specialist (yip - he is the one who replaced her shoulder this summer). Will find out how he will put all the many pieces back together.
She has already been back to ER because she kept using her wrist and fingers (although they are all wrapped up) and they rewrapped her up and made it impossible to move anything. To say she doesn't sit still is an understatement!
I am hoping she will be able to spend time in FL while in the cast - time will tell!
